The St. Rupert pilgrimage route leads from St. Gilgen am Wolfgangsee directly to Bischofshofen. The well-signposted path connects the Salzkammergut, Flachgau, Tennengau and Pongau over 110 km. The pilgrimage route leads past natural beauties, sights and wonderful viewpoints.
The last 2 daily stages lead from Hüttau over the Hochgründeck to the St. Vinzenz Friedenskirche and on to the Heinrich-Kiener house. From there it goes down to Bischofshofen with a wonderful panoramic view.
